Megan Lomas: I took the political ideology quiz and it came to say that I was solid liberal, but I believe that I have both conservative and liberal views. I believe I have these views partially because I just don't care and partially because I don't believe my one opinion will make any difference on any outcome. I am registered to vote, however I do not vote because of the two reasons I stated above. I am taking the class because it I on my degree plan, but after taking U.S. government I became a little bit more interested in government. I hope to become more educate with the insides and outs of Texas government. I would also like to learn about how my opinion and my vote could somehow largely affect me and everyone else. The general and political knowledge quizzes I did fairly well on. However, I did do better on the general knowledge quiz than the political quiz. I did expect to get a lower grade than I did on political knowledge quiz, so I was surprised that I knew more about political background of Texas.
